Feminine Spring Style

My Look: Top | Denim | Shoes (similar ones that are cheaper & super cute here) | Handbag | Watch (cheaper version I love and got my mama for Mother’s Day & is currently 40% OFF here)

I’ve been a little MIA from my blog the past couple of days & to be completely honest…it’s because it has finally hit 80+ degrees in Seattle and I have just been wanting to be outside, taking Leo out to enjoy it every second!! We went boating two days ago and it felt so amazing to be out on the water again. For me personally, boating is probably at the very top of my ‘favorite summer activities’ list and something we do a couple times a week all summer long. Even after ‘boating hours’ when we can’t cruise fast or pull a wakeboarder behind, I love to just float out in the middle of the lake listening to music and enjoying good company. The past couple of days have also been filled with tonnnns of eating outside on patios, another thing that makes me so happy yay! Yesterday we even took the pups to lunch with us so they could hang in the sun while we ate! When Spring/Summer comes around we all stop being little home-body hermit crabs and actually see our friends and fam a lot, (Seattle probs). Needless to say, I’m excited about the upcoming months of warmth and to be able to start bringing more summer looks to my blog!

I’ve been seeing these off shoulder ruffle tops all over the Instagram the past couple months and finally got my hands on one to try out myself. I love dressing more flirty and bold and that’s exactly what this top is. (And it’s only $15 whaaaaaat?!) It also comes in pink and white striped which I think is darling as well! I love how girly the Spring trends have been this year, I kind of went through a personal stage where I wanted to be more ‘edgy’ with my style…but to be honest, my heart lies with feminine style. I do like to experiment and jump out of my comfort zones certain days, I’m definitely not saying that ‘feminine’ is my only style, but I do love it. If you are relatively girly or want to test the waters, this top is a perfect way to do so. I’ve also seen it paired with blue or white denim skirts that looked adorable as well.

On another note, I only had one pair of white jeans that I would wear ALL THE TIME…until I went out for pizza with some friends and spilled marina sauce all over them!! They stained, sadly. So I had to get myself a new pair because I cannot live without a pair of white denim. I grabbed these because I had always heard amazing things about the style of them and have been loving them! They run smaller so I would size up. I’m usually a size 25 or 26 depending on the brand, and I got these in a 26. They are the ones in the photos above!

Today I have a bunch of Shop KarlieRae orders that I gotta get sent out to you guys so that is first on my to-do list, (thank you to all of you that have been ordering these past two months!! The support and love has felt unreal and I owe it all to you for standing beside me on this new journey! We also got some new arrivals in this past week so if you haven’t, go check them out!) Then I think I need to do a couple ‘deep cleaning’ tasks in our house because I have been lazy and only doing the surface level stuff…hopefully I can do this all fairly quickly because today’s gonna be 77 degrees and I wanna enjoy it!! Side note, any of you watch the Bachelorette last night?! I’m curious as to who everyone likes because I usually have a favorite or favorites after the first episode & I don’t yet.

Hope you have a lovely Tuesday!!
