What’s up friends! Happy Thursday! Today brings another ‘Thumbs Up Thursday’ aka something I am absolutely LOVING lately and that you all gotta try. I was so happy that when I introduced this new series last week you guys were excited and involved and I can’t wait to bring more ‘review’ and ‘highlight’ style posts onto my blog. Some things in life just deserve a spotlight and a giant thumbs up am I right?!

Today I am talking about the only lip product that I have ever felt that I cannot live without: Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. About a month ago I went to Sephora to grab a couple new things that I’ve been dying to try and I shared on my Instagram stories the things I was grabbing. When I shared that I was grabbing this to try I got SO many DM’s, maybe my most ever not kidding haha, saying how life changing this product was. With that said, I had extremely high expectations but was also really excited about it.

Little back story on my lips since that is what this product is for. I have tried many things; lip balms, Vaseline, Aquafor, sugar scrubs. I have naturally dry lips so matte or darker pigmented lipsticks have always been my worst nightmare. Can anyone relate to that? Give me red lip and it’ll look good until about 30 minutes and (my bottom lip especially) will start to appear flakey. Trust me, it’s not cute. And usually leads to me getting toilet paper out of the nearest rest room to try to wipe it all off. I’d say before I found this mask, the sugar lip scrubs were my favorite thing to do however I don’t feel like they lasted long term and with how much my bottom lip would ‘peel’, it was kind of painful and never got the job done. What I really needed was a moisturized lip treatment, not to peal them more.

I saw this lip sleeping mask on Instagram multiple times and my lips being a problem area, I knew I had to give it a go. I have now used this mask nightly for about 3 weeks and the difference is HUGE. Guys, I’m not just saying this. It has done wonders for my lips and also feels like I’m treating myself every night as I’m falling asleep since it is the very last thing I’ll do. Same as last week, I asked you guys over my Instagram story for your personal experiences with this product so I thought I’d share a few so you can see what others think and not just me!

@adventuresaftercoffee – “I bought it based off of your recommendation when I ran out of lip sheet masks. I am IN LOVE. It’s super easy to use, way less cumbersome than lip sheet masks and my lips are definitely softer in the morning! Thanks for putting it out there!”

@m.chandler.word – “I tried this at the end of my round of Accutane, and it was so-so. That said my lips were like the Sahara desert that no amount of moisture could fix, all I could do was treat the symptom, and never not need chapstick, so it was a really tough job to tackle. I didn’t love it but I didn’t hate it. I surprisingly haven’t tried it again even though I still struggle from sensitive and dry skin/lips but should.”

@the.skincare.diary – “The Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask ($20) is a leave on lip mask intended to be used overnight for ultra moisturized and plum lips upon waking up. The combination of vitamin C, antioxidants, hyaluronic acid, and blend of berries creates the perfect hydrating and protective barrier. I’ve been using this for the last month or so, and have definitely noticed I have less dry skin on m y lips. I’m someone who doesn’t typically like putting anything on my lips because of the feeling, but this lip mask has such h a fantastic texture and smell, it almost feels like putting butter on your lips, but creamier, and it smells like yummy cherries! For $20 it seems pricey, but this will last you months. Pro tip: use a little bit during the day underneath lipstick for a pump hydrated look!”

@karimcnelly – “I’ve been using this for a while now and I notice significant difference in softness of my lips. I wear matte lipsticks almost everyday and they take a huge toll on my lips. Take the directions seriously when it says apply liberally and make sure it’s literally the LAST thing you do before bed otherwise you’ll be low-key uncomfortable. But seriously this lip mask is God sent if you were a lot of matte lipsticks or have dry lips in general. It solves al my flaky and cracked lip problems.”

Thanks to these ladies for contributing to today’s post!! Make sure you guys are watching my stories for when I ask your reviews on certain products so I can be sure to include you in the next Thumbs Up Thursday!! Be sure to comment below if you’ve used this & your experience!! Also if you buy it come back and tell!

Hope you all are having a great Thursday and have a lovely weekend!

All my love!
