Where I’m Shopping For Furniture and What We’ve …

Exactly a week ago today was our first night in our new house! We have been here a week and although I do absolutely love our new house – we feel like we spent the first week ‘glamping’ out here haha. We sold mostly all our furniture with our old house, so we moved in with maybe 3-4 things and luckily our new mattress got delivered the day before we moved in so we’ve had a mattress on the floor to sleep on. But our appliances got delayed, we actually just got them a day ago, so we spent basically the first week with no fridge, freezer, washer or dryer and kept a cooler in the garage with my coffee creamer in it so I could still have my morning coffee. Dedication. I also have spent the past 24 hours…

I Was A Model For The Day!

I did something super fun this past week and it was a total walk down memory lane!! If you are new around here, you may not know this, but last year I opened an online clothing store! It was a little boutique that I sold online and locally and ran all by myself out of our house. After a couple of months I realized that my real passion was solely in blogging and that that is where I wanted to put my focus and energy into – but that forever gives me such a love for boutiques!! And the boss babes running them! It’s no easy task!

Something fun that some bloggers have been doing now…

Moving Update Plus Some Tips

Al and I decided to move super last minute as most of you here know. We weren’t seeking a new house or building, the opportunity just came our way. All that said, these past few weeks have been absolutely INSANE prepping our house for a move. Our current house has no garage but has a basement, so our basement has become a hoarder’s paradise…stuff everywhere haha. We rarely go down there and anytime I want to ‘hide’ something…down it goes. For those of you who know me personally, you know I’m very ‘type b’ aka not organized, not a planner, etc.  Every year of being a wifey I’m trying to improve in these categories  All that said, when we decided we were moving…I made a vow to myself that I would be a lot more organized in our new house. (I’m actually going slightly crazy and have all these fun organization ideas haha we will see how many of them I actually do). I know that as we bring everything we own over to a new house, things will get super messy and be all over the place, so I started some simple tasks in our current house that will make our move a little easier…

My $13 Ring Cleaner | Thumbs Up Thursday

As I am writing this post I cannot believe that I haven’t shared this goodness with you guys sooner! I remember the minute I got engaged, I went straight to my mother-in-law, (who is my go-to for tons of things in life – skincare, makeup, recipes, health tips, you name it) and asked her what cleaner I should buy to give my ring that extra sparkle when it’s gone through days of lotions, makeup, etc. For any of you engaged or married, you know how obsessed you are with your ring, especially at first, and I just wanted to clean that baby all the time haha! I was expecting to have to splurge on some steaming machine or something fancy…

Our Big News! We Bought A New House!!

It’s been a long time coming and I am so excited to update you guys with our life and tell all of you that we bought a new house!! Keeping this secret from my online fam has been SO hard  but Al and I wanted to make sure everything went over smoothly and was set in stone before telling you guys about this new chapter!

Now for story time because I’m sure a lot of you have some questions and are wondering why the heck we are leaving our beloved Lang Love Shack on the lake. As I’m sure most of you know, Al and I bought a small lake house when we were engaged and spent our entire engagement and first 8 months of marriage remodeling. We love our house and the lake life is truly like nothing else in the world. When we were engaged we were thinking we would be able to stay in that house for 5 years or so because…
